Inner door handle lights

Dear all, would like to check if this is normal:

1) inner door handle lights are on at night when I'm driving, and

2) when I lock the car using remote controller, the lights take about 10 secs to switch off after the headlights.

Any advice to turn off these lights when driving and sync the lights to switch off together or at the same time as the headlights?

a.k.a courtesy light. its normal to be on. and its being programmed in this manner.




these lights were lighted at important places.

so that in any case, u can see well these places

actually it doesn't really cause hinderance. in fact aft some time, u may actually find it handy/useful. becos it acted like an guidance light.

i'm not sure whether if they light up ONLY at night...

but i am sure that, the lights will be there when light visibilty is poor.

in the sense, i believe if daylight is stronger it may could "overwrite" the "courtesy" light.
but in case, it's morning bright daylight, and when ur car entered a "tunnel" the "courtesy" will also be lit.

as i said, it will be "lit", if its required to.
