Adam Scott has knocked back an offer to star on the top-rating US reality show The Bachelor.

ADAM Scott has knocked back an offer to star on the top-rating US reality love quest The Bachelor because, according to his management, the US Masters winner is no longer single.

Australia's new hero revealed on American morning television that he's currently in a relationship, and it is thought that Swede Marie Kozjar is the lucky lady.

"It's embarrassing but flattering. I'm not single at all. I am very much in a relationship and very happy for the moment", he revealed to CBS This Morning.

The golfing hunk dated former Swedish nanny Marie Kojzar on and off for years, as well as a string of high-profile names including tennis star Ana Ivanovic, whom he split from in January, and actress Kate Hudson.



Talking to Confidential from the US yesterday a rep for Scott confirmed they had recently fielded an offer to appear on The Bachelor which is currently in its 17th season on US commercial network ABC.

Scott opted to politely decline because he is "happily in a relationship", the rep told.

Sources from the set of The Bachelor confirmed this week that producers of the show had their sights set on the sporting heart-throb to star in the next season of the popular show in the wake of his stunning Masters win last Monday.

"Adam is being pursued by everyone and anyone at the moment," Scott's spokesman told Confidential yesterday. "Yes, we have received an inquiry, however, Adam has no intention of being involved with the program as he is very happily in a relationship."

The news of Scott's rekindled romance comes a month after Ivanovic went public with her new beau, millionaire playboy Mark Stillitano - the best pal of Ivanovic's Hopman Cup doubles partner Novak Djokovic.

Stillitano is often seen travelling with Djokovic as part of his entourage and and also reportedly works for ship and yacht manufacturers Bombardier.
